Dr Wes Upfold

Wes studied chiropractic at RMIT in Melbourne and after finishing worked as a locum in Victoria and Western Australia.  He started working at Stirling in 1998.  At that time his special interest was in sport and he gained an international chiropractic sports science diploma (ICSSD) in 2001, and worked with athletes such as Mick Fanning and Roger Federer. Since then he developed an interest in chiropractic and children (he had two daughters) and completed a post graduate year in chiropractic paediatrics.

‘I was first introduced to chiropractic at about age 13; when I accompanied my father who was a triathlete and utilised chiropractic to keep him going (he’s still going – although slower now).  I love the fact chiropractic is so simple and natural but can have such a profound effect on people’s health.  My interests in health now include trying to inspire the best habits possible for my daughters with regards to eating, exercise and attitude, in a society loaded with bad practices.  I love spending time with my family- Mel and daughters Aahlia and Lila. I’m passionate about surfing and yoga and with my left over time growing vegies.”
