Meet Belinda, a dedicated chiropractor who is passionate about the benefits of chiropractic care, in combination with the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She joined the SHP team in February of 2024, having graduated from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chiropractic Science, and a Bachelor of Clinical Chiropractic (BClinChiro).
Belinda has always been involved in a variety of different sports, and has had a keen interest in anatomy and physiology from early on which inspired her to pursue a career in chiropractic. She has personally experienced the widespread benefits of regular chiropractic care, as a result being a patient of Dr Bradley Grant since she was a young child. Whilst studying at Murdoch, Belinda was engaged in many outreach programs within the community, as well as working with the CBC Amateur Football Club as team chiropractor. This allowed her to build on her knowledge of mechanical soft tissue injuries, joint dysfunction and injury prevention in men and women across different age groups.
In her practice Belinda utilises a variety of chiropractic techniques including spinal adjustment and manipulation, soft tissue therapy and rehabilitation exercises. She also strongly believes in incorporating lifestyle advice and education into her patients treatment, to encourage them to take an active role in their recovery, and to prevent the reoccurrence of injury.
Outside of work Belinda loves to stay active with daily Pilates, as she recognises the importance of maintaining a strong and resilient musculoskeletal system. As well as swimming laps in the pool, walking her dogs and spending quality time with family and friends.
