Marta has always had an interest in health and helping people. After high school she decided to study physiotherapy at Eugeniusz Piasecki University School of Physical Education in Poland. She has since requalified as a Physiotherapist here in Australia.
In 2005 she attended a course in Swedish massage and from that time used her knowledge on her friends to gain experience. In 2006 she worked as a volunteer with the Polish National Tennis Wheelchair Team in Turkey, taking part in the preparation for the Wheelchair Tennis Team World Championships in Brazil. Marta performed physiotherapy treatments for the team.
During 2008 Marta finished several courses in differing massage disciplines, including deep tissue massage (where she learned from the best masseurs in Poland), lymphatic drainage, Chinese cupping and relaxation massage. All of these courses gave her the opportunity to work in a clinical situation, often helping, women after chest cancer, people with back problems, and all types of muscle dysfunction.
Marta completed her masters in 2009, and spent one year working as physiotherapist in Poland, after which she decided to immigrate to Australia. In 2011 she started work at Stirling Health Professionals as a Remedial Massage Therapist.
Marta enjoys studying and expanding her knowledge base. In her time in Australia, she qualified as a Physiotherapist, Sport and Exercise Scientist, Yoga Instructor and has additionally completed several courses to provide effective treatments.
Marta uses dry needles, taping, medical grade stainless steel tools for myofascial release, soft tissue massage, IASTM and Graston type treatment.
Marta is highly skilled in prescribing the right exercises to achieve a quick improvement in muscular dysfunctions, using her yoga, physiotherapy and exercise science degree.
